Cable Congress is the flagship
event of Cable Europe (the European Cable Communications
Association). Cable Europe is a not-for-profit trade association
that groups all the leading European broadband cable communications
operators and their national trade associations throughout Europe.
The aim of Cable Europe is to
promote and defend the industry’s policies and business interests
at international level and to foster co-operation among its members. The
European cable industry services more than 70 million customers.

EuroCableLabs
In 2004, major European cable companies joined efforts to set up EuroCableLabs
with the aim of coordinating technical activities related to broadband
cable technologies for TV and IP services. The work of ECL is focused
on Emerging Technology Research, Technology Standards Development, and
Vendor Certification. EuroCableLabs is an autonomous department of Cable
Europe.

CTAM Europe
The letters in CTAM stand for the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing. CTAM is a nonprofit, non-commercial, professional membership organization. It was started in North America 28 years ago with a vision to advance marketing excellence in the cable industry. Currently CTAM has more than 5,500 members worldwide and is supported by hundreds of the industries leading global corporations.
CTAM Europe is one of the newest chapters. With more than 350 members, CTAM Europe is dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of cable professionals in Europe.

SCTE - The Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers
The Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers is a learned society, formed in the UK in 1945, to raise the standard of cable telecommunication engineering. Membership is open to anyone involved in cable telecommunications engineering with grades from Technician to Fellow.
The SCTE serves its members by organising lecture meetings, producing a journal containing technical articles, participating in events in the television and telecommunication industries and providing opportunities for members to meet on social occasions.

ACT
The Association of Commercial Television in Europe, ACT, represents
the business interests of the commercial television sector at the EU
institutions. The ACT was formed in July 1989. Its member companies
are active in 34 European countries and encompass several business models,
from free-to-air television broadcasters to multimedia groups and digital
platform operators. Cumulatively, these companies offer many hundreds
of television channels and are the leading source of entertainment and
information to millions of European citizens.
