The Gala Dinner (evening Day 1)The sumptuous Gala Dinner will take place at the end of the first full day of the conference. Hosted by local Spanish cable vendor ONO, it will be held at the luxurious Westin Palace Hotel with an opening cocktail at the elegant Museum of Art. The museum will be reserved for the exclusive use of Cable Congress participants. You’ll be able to enjoy a cocktail and tapas while receiving a personal tour of the different collections. From the museum you will be a stone’s throw from the Westin Palace Hotel. At the Gala Dinner you will be seated within elegant surroundings and able to choose from a menu of carefully prepared local delicacies. Entertainment with a local flavour will be the perfect accompaniment to the dinner. The Gala Dinner is part of the programme for all participants with a full congress registration. About Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza is known as a part of the "Golden Triangle of Art", which also includes the Prado and the Reina Sofia galleries. The collection started in 1920 as a private collection by the late Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza (1921–2002). Highlights include works by the most famous Renaissance and Baroque painters, including Titian, Sebastiano del Piombo, Caravaggio, Rubens, Van Dyck, Murillo, Rembrandt and Frans Hals, and wonderful portraits by Domenico Ghirlandaio and Vittore Carpaccio.
