As Chief Executive of Sky he helped the company achieve a dominant position in the UK Pay TV market as cable competitors floundered. Now, as Chairman of Kabel Deutschland, Europe’s biggest cable company, he will use his experience to address the Congress on how cable can win, how it can make the most of its technological superiority, and how the right regulatory regime is needed to meet consumers’ changing needs.
